Topic: Coffee Morning – Culminating Activity
Coffee Morning presented by Grade 7 on 21st December, was a fitting way to end this very fruitful 2019. It was a culminating activity which brought out the students’ talents in the topic – Transportation of Delight.
A Sanskrit Shloka set the perfect ambience to begin the event. It was followed by a short speech by Benedick, which highlighted the significance of such a coffee morning. Then the stage was taken over by a very energetic MC, Sri Pragna, who intoduced the speakers, each representing a subject. The question put forward by the MC to each of these speakers was how he/ she integrets the topic “Transportation of Delight” to his/ her subject. All the subjects were beautifully connected to the topic either by song, dance or skit.
The event ended with the announcement of the names of achievers in various inter-school and inter-house competitions, as each of them came onto the stage holding his/ her medals and certificates. The vote of thanks rendered by Girish befittingly thanked everyone involved in making this event successful, including the parents who visited, principal ma’am, the coordinators and the teachers who guided them, the non-teaching staff for making the arrangements, and last but not the least, his classmates, without whom this event would not have culminated at all.
