The students of Edify School, Kanakapura Main road proudly observed ‘Hindi Diwas’
to pay tribute and mark the importance of Official Language Hindi on the 15th
Hindi Diwas is celebrated on the 14th of September every year across schools, colleges,
offices, and organizations to showcase the importance of the day and the language. The
day commemorates the event when Hindi was adopted as one of the official languages
The major highlights of this special assembly were the graceful dance performances
done by students of the primary and secondary wings. The students sang an inspiring
song and also recited a few of the famous poets Kabir’s Dohas (Couplets) with translation.
‘Unity in Diversity was showcased wherein the students came in colourful attires from
different states of India.
The show stopper of this event was a spectacular Hindi skit performed by students of
Grade 4. They incorporated Hindi Diwas with Teacher’s Day and were beautifully presented.
An incredible mime act was performed by Grade 10 students.
Our Principal Ma’am Ms Neelam Sharma addressed the gathering. She encouraged and
appreciated the students for their commendable performance.
The assembly concluded with the National Anthem.
