Theme – Experiential Learning on Transportation

Experiential learning is a method of educating through first-hand experience. Skills, knowledge, and experience are acquired outside of the traditional academic classroom setting.
In the month of March, students of IK to Grade 1 engaged themselves in a field trip on transportation wherein they connected and applied their knowledge practically in real life situations. They had a life time experience of riding in a bullock cart and in a big tractor along with their facilitators in this exhilarating journey.
The main learning objective of this field trip is it goes beyond classroom learning, students see the concrete fruits of their labour, they experience greater gratification and pride, thus enhancing their enthusiasm for continued learning.
