Edify Kanakapura enthusiastically participated in ‘Fit India Movement’ inaugurated by the honourable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi on the occasion of Khel Diwas on August 29, 2019. The program was directly telecasted on Doordarshan from 10 am to 11 am. The school made necessary arrangements to have all the students and teachers witness the live telecast.

The event was held at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium, New Delhi. At the launch, the Prime Minister delivered an address, and also administered a fitness pledge. The event aimed at motivating and encouraging citizens to make physical activities and sports, a part of their daily life. The school also participated in the Fitness oath administered by the honourable Prime Minister.
