Basant Panchami is a popular festival celebrated in India in the month of Magha. It also marks the arrival of the cheerful spring season.
Grade 7c of Edify School Kanakapura Road conducted a special assembly on this occasion, on 4th February 2022.
The festival is dedicated to Goddess Saraswati, the eternal source of knowledge and wisdom. This year it falls on 5th February.
The students beautifully brought out the significance of the day amidst song and dance.
To this they added the importance of the World Pulses Day which is celebrated on 10th February every year. The audience was made aware of the consumption of lentils, which are rich in protein.
