“An electrician is a bright spark who knows what’s watt.”
The children met electrician Mr. Venkatesh, one of the community helpers in our school, on August 25th, 2022. The session was based on the topic “Community Helpers”
from IM2. They learnt about the safety measures to be taken before touching any electrical appliance. Mr. Venkatesh also showed the different tools used by them, like cutting pliers, adjustable cutters, magnetic screwdrivers, and many more. He gave information about AC current 
and DC current 
. Students were so excited after learning about electricity,types of electricity, electricians, their importance as community helpers, and their tools. Later, children reflected their understanding of the session.
