The coffee morning session was organised for the parents of Grade IK-1 on Monday,
19 th September,2022. In this session students display their understanding of the content on a platform
where parents and facilitators are the audience. These events are a great opportunity for parents to get
an insight into the learning process of their children.
The host Ms.Tanvi welcomed the gathering.
Students started the presentation with the prayer and by wishing “Good Morning” to all the parents
and teachers.
First presentation was "Pre- number concept integrated with Montessori material- Pink tower and
cylindrical blocks.”
Second presentation was on alphabet phonic song followed by dance performance by our budding
dancers for the song” Lakadi ki kathi”.
This was continued with the topic- “Food we eat” wherein children spoke about the nutrients and the
benefits of fruits, vegetables and milk products. They also enjoyed dancing for the song “Doodh,
doodh, doodh hi wonderful”
Next performance was the “Fashion show” on seasonal cloths like winter, rainy and summer where
all the children performed ecstatically.
Followed by the performance on “parts of the body” where children spoke about five sense organs
and danced for the song “Shake and Move”.
Our Director Ma’am Ms. Niti Mahendra, addressed the gathering by giving an insight on NEP
education and how Edify has been implementing it since the beginning.
This was followed by vote of thanks by Ms. Poornima Chakravarthi.
The program ended with the National Anthem.
