A field trip is one of the best tools that, we as teachers can use to provide every
student with real-world experiences
The students of IK 1 visited Market Fresh on the 23rd of September 2022, Friday
as part of the learning concept. They got exposed to learning opportunities and
also about different types of fruits, vegetables, pulses, greens, dals, soaps various
home needs which we need in our daily life. The tiny tots were extremely
enthusiastic to see more types of fruits and vegetables in one place.
Some of the objectives were to acquaint the students with different types of
markets, make them familiar with the availability of various products, help them
differentiate between healthy and junk food and also inculcate good eating
habits.
The children also began to notice that what they learn on the screen has meaning
in the real world. The Students interacted with shopkeepers and were amused to
receive gems from them. In return they thanked the shop keeper with Thank you
card. Overall it was a fun filled outing.
