As an extension learning activity of Inquiry Module – 2 on the topic, Sense Organs, a session was
conducted by Ms.Dipti Sandip Ambulkar, Biology Facilitator at Edify school, Bengaluru for the
students of IK 3 on 23/09/2022.
She carried her session ahead by exchanging dialogue with the children and showing the
skeleton, speaking about the skull, neck, shoulder blade, elbow, rib bone, spinal discs, etc. The
topic was extended by showing the model of an ear, an eye, a heart, the teeth and the brain.
She also explained that each organ has a unique function to perform to keep the body healthy.
The session was informative, interactive and was quite an interesting one. Children spoke with
lots of energy and excitement. They were curious to ask many questions to Ms.Dipti as well. As
reflections they drew beautiful picture of the things they saw in the lab and also sense organs.
