Edify school Kanakapura Main Road, Bengaluru celebrated 76th Independence Day!!
The awesome morning began with the Hoisting of the flag followed by National Anthem. It was a
great privilege to have Mr. *P. S NANDA KUMAR*, the founder of NANDA GROUP of Companies
an entrepreneur and a mentor too.
The school leader and the school mentor shared their views about Independence Day and also
about they being one as edifier. Patriotic songs by the choir enlightened this occasion with its
igniting words.
The Significance of Independence day was presented in Kannada very effectively. The
celebration highlighted with its cultural events.
There was the Choir presenting the evergreen song in Hindi, then victory song in Sanskrit and a
Kannada patriotic song with its melody. The young percussionists played Tabla with the heights
of its tunes which made the audience enjoy the rhythm at its core.
There is always a feast to the eyes if the dance performances were by primary section, which
was very entertaining. The most melodious tunes were played by grade eight student with her
Veena, which was completely relished by the audience.
National War Memorial- An excellent presentation was presented in the form of speech by
grade 8 student. We also had a gracious dance performance by the grade 10 girls.
The applause was on its higher level as the audience enjoyed it very much.
We were so privileged to have our Chief Guest, Mr. P.S Nanda Kumar who honored the toppers
and winners of Modern Parliament Competition.
The Motivational words from our Chief Guest gave the audience a thorough knowledge of
respect and sincerity towards the school and teachers. Our respected Director guided the
audience about the importance of National Flag and also about patriotism.
The Alumni Representative rendered his best speech to the audience who enjoyed it. The Actual
Celebration ended up with token of gratitude to the chief guest and sincere thanks to the
audience present for the day.
On the occasion of Azadi ki Amrit Mahotsav – the school had decided to have a Friendly Cricket
match between the Alumni Students versus Grade 10&11 students along with few staff
members.
That was the most entertaining of this event.
