International Yoga Day
Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s tradition. It is not about exercises but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and nature. Edify school, kanakapura Main Road Bengaluru always embraces Yoga as it’s one of its favorite curriculum.
June 21st, Tuesday-The International Yoga Day was celebrated with the guidance of Mr.Shivakumar, the Yoga Master. The students performed all the asanas very systematically. The asanas made a harmonious change in the body which is related with nature and also gives a peaceful and joyful feeling to the body. Mr.Shivkumar, the Yoga teacher, instructed and performed suryanamaskara, along with other asanas. Dhanurasana, Sukhasana, Vakrasana, are few among them which were performed with sincere dedication and methodically.
The cycle of stretches motivated the students for their perfection. The confidence the students acquired after the session, gave an extreme relaxation for the mind and the body. So to conclude, a prose of exercises, with pleasant poetry of movements made a peaceful move for all the students.
