Edify School Kanakapura Road celebrated the 7th International Yoga Day virtually with all
its pomp and grandeur. Students of IK to Grade 5 involved themselves in various yogic
practice under the guidance of Yoga Instructor Ms. Jayalakshmi Sharma. Students performed
Surya Namaskaram and various other enthralling postures which blew out our minds.
Special guests Lisa Carswell and Asya Kastanova graced the occasion and encouraged the
young participants.

The students of IK to Grade 2 celebrated a virtual Father’s Day on the 18th of June, 2021.
Zumba, an exercise fitness program was specially set up for the father-child duo. The
enthusiasm was electric.
The children celebrated the day in their own special way. They made cards, medals and
badges for their dads. They spoke about their Dad’s favourite food and colour. The little
ones also presented a song for their heros
The dynamic event concluded by fathers expressing their feelings on the occasion. They
appreciated the efforts of school authorities for this unique idea of involving Fathers in such
celebrations and said that these types of events help them to know their children better and
also help them to nurture their relationship with their children.
It was a memorable event which the fathers and children will cherish for their lifetime.
