National Reading Day 2021 is celebrated every year on the 19th June . The day is celebrated
in honour of father of India’s Library Movement ,the late P.N. Panicker.
Stressing on the importance of reading ,P.N. Panicker was largely responsible for the cultural
movement in the state of Kerala.
Edify School Kanakapura road continues to encourage and inculcate reading habits amongst
students right from kindergarten.
The students of Grade. 3 self inspired by their habit of reading stories , conducted a reading
activity wherein they read they favourite stories and poems and connected themselves with
their peer groups.
The children were bright-eyed and peppy as the activity began. All the participants enjoyed
the activity.
