World Immunization Day and Universal Children’s Day
World Immunization Day aims to promote the use of vaccines to protect people of all ages against disease. Immunization saves millions of lives every year and is widely recognized as one of the world’s most successful and cost-effective health interventions.
Universal Children’s Day is celebrated annually on 20th November. The goal of Universal Children’s day is to improve child welfare worldwide, promote and celebrate children’s rights and promote togetherness and awareness amongst all children.
Our students from grade 1 presented a special assembly on World immunization Day and Universal Children’s Day. The assembly started with school prayer followed by school song. Students came up with speech on the importance of world immunization day wherein they spoke about the importance of vaccination and different types of vaccines available to protect people especially children from dangerous diseases and illness.
The speech was presented in Kannada and Hindi. Students also showcased universal Children’s Day by presenting melodious songs and well-co-ordinated fusion dance.
The assembly culminated with Ms Rupa Sur our Academic Administrator –Pre- Primary applauding the students and also giving some resourceful inputs to the students.
