Date – 18th and 19th January 2021
The virtual coffee morning was organized for the parents of the students of Grade I A, B on Monday 18/1/2021 and Grade C on Tuesday 19/1/2021. The coffee morning is a unique way to present the inquiry cycle by students. Students display their knowledge and understanding about the content on a platform where parents and facilitators are the audience. The event is a great opportunity for the parents to get an insight into the learning process of their children.
At the onset, parents were invocated by melodious songs of Sakshi, Adrika & Khushi. Academic Administrator, Pre-Primary Ms. Rupa Sur welcomed the gathering and stressed how important it is to fulfil one’s childhood dream. She also spoke about the importance of coffee morning. HRT’s spoke about the holistic development of the child through 3C curriculum. The students showcased their learning under Inquiry Module 1 &3 Community helpers integrated with Friendship in the form of display as well as dynamic presentations.
The presentation of the inquiry module was done using the power point presentations, charts & flash cards as a tool. Students spoke about the topic and activity they have done during the inquiry cycle. They took initiative to motivate and guide people to carry great friendship, respect everyone and how community helpers are important in our lives. The show was hosted magnificently by Charvitha, Anika and Aditi. The role-plays of covid frontline worriers enhanced the programme by bringing hope in all.
Finally programme was concluded with a vote of thanks by Mounica, Tvisha and sanaz.
The parents were enthralled and dazzled to see their tiny ones performing on little window. The parents were requested to provide feedback through Google form. Overall, the feedback received for the entire program was excellent.
