“Nothing beats an exciting hands-on experience to deepen learning. The magic of a field trip isn’t just the subject. It’s the break in routine and adventure that opens up children’s mind to new things.” – Anonymous
The students of Grade 6 of Edify School, Kanakapura Road, were taken on a virtual trip to the Inner Harbour of Baltimore, USA, on 23rd December 2021. They had a 360 degrees view of the aquatic life there and were also able to explore that life.
Life underwater, in the Tropical Rain forests, around the Atlantic Coral Reef, in the open ocean were shown to the children. They enjoyed gaining knowledge about the Red Lionfish, the Zebra Shark, the Black Grouper, the Yellow Tangs, the Green Moray Eel, the Yellow-Headed Amazon Parrot, and also the different types of Jellyfishes. The children watched wide-eyed and a few of them also made notes on these strange aquatic animals and fishes.
