EVENT- SPECIAL ASSEMBLY ON’ WATER TALK’

National Water Mission (NWM) under the Department of Water Resources has been organizing a lecture series –‘WATER TALK’ to promote dialogue and information sharing among the students on variety of topics related to water.
On Thursday 27/08/2020 a special assembly was conducted on the theme ‘Water talk’ by the secondary students of grade 6-10 on the virtual platform to promote the theme as an extremely beneficial to learn the various aspects of water conservation and management.
Anup Bhandarkar and Bhargav Sriram, students of gr 9 presented innovative perspectives on current water issues in the country and the capacities to build better water management.
Our Secondary Academic Administrator (AGP) Dr. Deepti Chaturvedi shared her views on dealing with the water scarcity which is of paramount significance from both present and future perspective. She also emphasized that sharing best practices among students through these water-talks would enhance knowledge, ensures consistent dissemination of information and build capacities in better water management.
In order to promote this mission further, various articles and illustrations on ‘Water Talk ‘were uploaded in the school’s e-library to enhance the students’ knowledge on water related issues.
