Edify School, Kanakapura Main Road celebrated combined special assembly by grade 6,
10 and 11 on July 16 Saturday 2022.
The topic of the assembly for grade 6 was ‘World Nature Conservation Day’ and for
grade 10 and 11 it was ‘Pi Approximation Day’.
To begin the program we had Guru Vandana by our choir followed by school prayer and
school song. The program started with a welcome speech by grade 10 student which was
followed by a speech on Significance and Importance of World Nature Conservation
Day by grade 6 student. Discovery of Pi was explained by grade 10 student followed by
a song on the value of Pi and integration talk in kannada by grade 6 students. Importance
of Pi Approximation day was expressed by grade 10 student which we was followed by
an integration dance in English and Hindi song. Next we application of Pi activities by
grade 10 and 11 students where they explained the application of Pi in historical
monuments Light houses and Helmets. A skit was staged on Old and New Earth which
highlighted the value of Conservation of Nature. The program came to an end by vote of
thanks by grade 10 student. Our Director Niti Mahendra addressed the gathering
highlighting the importance of knowledge in one’s life. She also spoke about Success and
Failure, telling that failure always gives chance to improve. She also enlightened the
students with moral values, importance of discipline and respect.
The program came to an end with a National Anthem.
