WORLD POPULATION DAY
The United Nations Development Programme had marked 11th July in the calendar to be observed as World Population World Day in the year 1989 and its focus was to deal urgently on the importance of population issues. Our students from grade 1 to grade 8 and teachers celebrated World Population Day on 8th July 2019 by having a special assembly in the school premises. Grade 8 A students began the assembly with Guruvandana, prayer and school song. Pranav Talwalkar came up with an amazing speech on ‘Population’ displaying his eloquence in speaking. This was followed by a brilliant skit display by the boys showing effects of over population. The assembly culminated with Ms Deepthi Chaturvedi applauding the students and also giving some resourceful inputs to the students.
